In the spirit of re-organizing the kitchen I decided to wash my amber glass jars in the dishwasher to give them a little pick me up.
Well, when I opened the dishwasher the amber coating on the large jar had washed off somewhat.
Now, I can't have the jars looking so tacky.
So, with a few Brillo pads, warm soapy water and a little elbow grease,
I've got myself new jars!

I washed the jars in the dishwasher first to sanitize and to get a good clean. I then used a Scotch bright Brillo pad with warm soapy water to scrub the jar. You have to use a little elbow grease to get the coating off. |

I refilled the jars with corn meal, sugar, and flour and they are complete!
